Three new TU Delft OCW courses

This week I have added three new courses to our OpenCourseWare site. Two courses of the master programme NanoScience and one course on Watermanagement:

  • Advanced solid state physics
This course is about the electronic properties of materials and contains lectures about scattering, transport in metals, phonons and superconductivity.
  • Quantum Information Processing
Quantum Information Processing aims at harnessing quantum physics to conceive and build devices that could dramatically exceed the capabilities of today's "classical" computation and communciation systems. In this course, we will introduce the basic concepts of this rapidly developing field.
  • Pumping stations and transport pipelines
Water transport through pipes, pressure losses, (pressure) network design and building, pump selection, pumping stations, power supply, quantitative reliability, operation and maintenance.

We now have 25 courses available, total 116 ECTS.
