Alweer een ServicePack voor Blackboard 8
Gisteren heeft Blackboard alweer de eerste Service Pack voor Blackboard 8 (8.0.209.9) vrijgegeven. Opvallend hierbij is dat er (vrijwel) geen nieuwe functionaliteiten inzitten. Het zijn alleen 33 bugfixen. Het enige dat je nieuw kan noemen is dat ze nu ook een Braziliaans Portugese language pack hebben.
Tot nu toe gebruikte Blackboard Service Packs altijd om nieuwe functionaliteit te introduceren.
Als ik de lijst van verbeteringen door kijk zie ik vooral een heel aantal zaken rondom het Content System:
| AS-112382 | Images that are embedded in an artifact via the VTBE, images that re uploaded to an artifact via "attach local file", and images that ink to the content collection all do not show up in a personal ortfolio when the portfolio is shared with external users. When a erson logs into the system and views the portfolio the images all isplay correctly. |
| AS-112383 | After an update to 7.2, if an item in a Shared Portfolio contains a ink to a document in My Content, this item cannot be opened by he user with whom the Portfolio is shared. |
| AS-112267 | When new users access the Content Collection tab, the CreateNewUserHomeDirectory function is invoked, as well as reation of relevant new course/org/eReserves directories if the ser is a privileged member in one of those. In this situation, eadlocks may occur. |
| AS-112001 | Attempting to remove attached files from an Artifact does not work roperly; an error message occurs. |

Hoi Willem,
Je gaat me toch niet vertellen dat men verbeteringen heeft aangebracht aan het portfolio? Het moet niet gekker worden...

Het zijn aanpassingen, ik moet nog maar blijken dat het verbeteringen zijn. ;-)

Hoi Willem,
enig idee of hiermee ook de problemen rondom Recycle Bin (verwijderde bestanden van andere gebruikers in mijn prullenbak) en interne links portfolio-logboek ICLON ook zijn aangepakt?
