Eerste Service Pack voor Blackboard 9

Zoals verwacht heeft Blackboard afgelopen vrijdag Service Pack 1 voor Blackboard Learn 9 geïntroduceerd. De service pack bevat voornamelijk heel veel bugfixes:

  • Resolution to over 10 bugs related to system performance
  • Resolution to over 30 bugs in the Grade Center including an issue preventing extra credit points from being calculated in the "Total" column.
  • Certification support for Java 1.6 on 32 bit environments and compatible support for Java 1.6 on 64-bit environments.
  • An upgrade SQL Server jdbc driver to Merlia.jar 7.04.
Als ik op Behind.blackboard kijk zijn er nog steeds een groot aantal bugs geïdentificeerd, waarvan een aantal al gepland gepland staan voor een bepaalde release, zoals 9.0 SP1 HF1, 9.0 SP2 en 9.1. Een groot gedeelte staat echter nog niet gepland voor een bepaalde release. Ik ben benieuwd wanneer deze dan gefixt worden.
