Naast de lancering van iTunesU lanceren wij ook de eerste release van onze iPhone app. De TU Delft biedt hiermee als eerste universiteit in Nederland een iPhone applicatie aan op basis van het Blackboard Mobile platform.
ìTU Delft app gives you access to the latest information about Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) wherever you are.
Features:
- Map – Search for TU buildings by name, pinpoint them on the map and see your relative location, and zoom or pan across the map using the multi-touch interface.
- Events – Check out listings from DelftCalendar.
- Video – Get TU Delft iTunes U and Youtube content.
- News – Check out the latest news from around the campus.
- Library – Search the TU Delft Library for sources to help you conduct research. Check item availability, look up library phone number, and get links to view source material online.
Coming soon:
- Directory – Look up TU faculty and staff, store contacts with a few taps, and use the e-mail or phone capabilities of your device to connect.
- Courses – Access the Digital StudyGuide to find your courses, including descriptions, times and locations, and tab to map the location or contact the instructor.
- Images – Browse or search through TU Delft’s images, including collections of the library.
The “i” in the name stands for internet, interactive, intuitive, I (as in you) and of course … incredible.

De app is nu al te downloaden in de iTunes store, zoek op Delft en je vindt hem. Hieronder een aantal screenshots van de app:
